Ed’s Newsletter | January Update

We have some exciting news as we begin 2018. Two big announcements and a word of thanks!

First: We are thrilled to announce that today we are launching a new website for ONMB. Check it out right now at: www.onmb.org This new site allows us to connect with you better and provide all online registration for events into the future. We are very excited about this new site. If you love it, let Kristi know as she has spent much time bringing this into being. If you have any suggestions for improvement let us know as soon as possible so that we can address them.

Second: We are thrilled to officially invite you to register for our upcoming 87th Annual Convention and Pastors’ & Leaders’ Day – Feb. 23,24, 2018. Details and registration are available here.

The Theme for this years convention is “Empowered for ONE Mission” with keynote speaker Randy Friesen. This will be a historic convention as it will be hosted for the first time by Behta Darya in Mississauga. Also, the agenda and talking points will be particularly important with many changes happening in the MB world both across Canada and Ontario. More details will be coming to you shortly. Please also note that Dr. Grant Mullen will be our resource person for our “Sharpening your Focus” Pastors’ & Leaders’ Day on Friday from 10:00am – 4:00pm prior to convention. You can learn more about Dr. Grant Mullen on his website right here. We believe his input will be particularly relevant to us at this time.

A very Big Thanks: I want to extent a word of gratitude for the generosity of you and your churches in 2017. We have for the 4th year running exceeded our church donations year over year. We still have a ways to go to be 100% self sufficient as a provincial conference, but the trends are going in the right direction. Thanks for your trust in our joint efforts. Looking forward to even stronger collaboration moving forward.
