December 2, 2020 @ 9am-1pm (EST)
Advent is a time of expectant waiting; a time to prepare our hearts, minds, and souls for the arrival of the divine King, the long expected Saviour.
The Christian Calendar sets Advent apart as a unique season, marked with sights, sounds, smells, and rhythms that are aimed to heighten our attentiveness to God by quieting our souls, slowing down our pace, and refocusing our attention.
Join your fellow MB pastors and ministry leaders in Ontario for this retreat which is designed to minister to your soul.
Our times of prayer, reflection, walking, and sharing are designed to quiet down the noise and ramped-up pace around us so we can enter Advent ready; and so that we can lead others into the full blessing of joy, hope, peace, and love of God that is so uniquely available in the Advent and Christmas season.
This event will be facilitated virtually by Ingrid Reichard, NFLT Director, and will be a combination of virtual guidance, personal prayer and reflection time, and group sharing and discussion. We hope you can join us.
A Zoom link for the meeting will be included in your confirmation email once you register.
