Move Together – Collaborating in Mission Regionally for Jesus’ Glory

Prayer and God’s word are at the heart of our life together as the Ontario MB church. Our shared life in Christ is rooted in hearing from Him as the Holy Spirit leads us in prayer and in learning from the Bible together. Since this is true, we’re joyfully anticipating a vibrant gathering on February 20 and 21.
Along the theme of ‘move together – collaborating in mission regionally for Jesus’ glory”, we will be joined by Emerson Cardoso and Franz Wolf, who both lead with Multiply in Brazil. As introduced in 2025, prayer rooms will be incorporated throughout the day on Saturday. Participants will be led in intercession for an important ministry or mission opportunity within our ONMB family, along with hearing from our national ministry partners.

Pray for an established ONMB church, taking significant steps in 2026 toward revitalization.
Brock University Disciple-Making – Video (Maddy Hiebert, Caleb Lockyer, Ella Landry & Brody Wall)
Pray for young adults from Cornerstone living as missionaries on the campus of Brock University.
Southeast City Church – David & Diana Hood
Pray for this church, started with ONMB in 2019 who are reaching their neighbourhood with the gospel and growing toward thriving and stability.
Brazil – Missional Pastors Team
Pray for God’s mission in Brazil. From Brazil’s dynamic cities to the raw beauty of the Amazon, God’s kingdom is growing. Let’s fan the flame!
Prayer Rooms Session 2:
Stratford Church Plant – Rick Bruinsma
Pray for members from Elgin Missionary Church and Maple View Mennonite Church as they partner to start a new ONMB church in Stratford in 2026.
Congolese Churches – Landware, Oscar
Pray for Mission Pentecostal Rehoboth Church and New Life Church, both in Hamilton, who were planted in 2025 and are exploring affiliation with ONMB.
First Nations Ministry – Derek Parenteau & Marcus Wagler
Pray for The King’s House, Chains Will Fall, and house churches reaching First Nations people and others in the Georgian Bay region.
Bytown Community Church – Dan Chook Reid
Pray for this church, started under The Gathering Ottawa in 2021, as they continue to grow roots and engage their neighbourhood with the Good News of Jesus.
Emerging Disciple-Makers & Church Planters
Pray for people across ONMB to respond to God’s call with faith, stepping into new territory to make new disciples and form churches.
