What is a Ministry Toolbox?

Our ‘ministry toolbox’ is a curated set of recommended resources designed to equip churches, leaders, and ministries “to cultivate a community and culture of healthy disciple-making churches and ministries, faithfully joining Jesus in his mission.” This may include:

Trevor and I have observed that having a healthy leadership model is a point of confusion for a good number of our churches. What is the interplay between the idea/model of a Board of Directors and an Elder Team? What are the biblical directives? How does a Leadership Team relate to the Lead Pastor and staff? What does the CRA require or a charitable organization? How do we practice leadership in a way that fosters a healthy, thriving and fruitful church culture? We’ll dive into all of these questions. This is the best book I, (Ryan) have read on the topic of church leadership to this point and I’m excited to share it! 

 We’ll cover 2-3 chapters per session.

Purpose: To learn, grapple with and integrate a biblical vision for church leadership. To share in the journey as a means of sharpening and spurring one another along.
