Pastors & Leaders Day 2025
February 21, 2025
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Matthew 11:28-30 MSG
We’re anticipating a significant day with Cam Stuart (CCMBC Director). Cam will lead us on a journey of trusting, surrendering, enjoying, and resting focused on responding to Jesus’ invitation from Matthew 11:28-30. We’ll experience some teaching, time for personal reflection, and connect with others to discuss what we’re learning along the way.
The foundation of any healthy ministry is not gifting, charisma, strength of personality, or leadership skill but a soul that abides, rests, and enjoys God in an ongoing personal way. We’ve seen too many leaders implode because, while they had wonderful gifting, charisma, and skill, they had a depleted and diminished soul. Each sad story reminds us that our life with Jesus must be large enough to support our ministry in His name. On February 21, we’ll focus on cultivating our soul with Jesus as the essential aspect of the ministry we are doing for Him.
