SUMMARY:Kingdom Prayer Workshop
DESCRIPTION:KINGDOM PRAYER WORKSHOP \nI want to invite you and/or your church to be a part of Teach Us to Pray: A Kingdom Prayer Workshop on January 10 & 11\, 2015 at Cornerstone Community Church in Virgil\, ON. \nWe believe that the Niagara Region needs gospel transformation\, and that this kind of renewal will be preceded by a movement of kingdom prayer among Jesus’ disciples. This training workshop will help to breathe new life into your prayer life\, and the prayer life of your church\, as God draws you deeper into his heart for you\, your church\, our Region\, and this world. You will learn how to reach our world with the gospel through prayer\, and how to engage seekers in the gospel with prayer. \nThe training will be led by John Smed\, who has trained churches around the world in prayer for over 15 years. Timothy Keller\, of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City\, says\, “I know of no one better able to train our church in prayer than John Smed.” \nThere is a choice of 2 Training Tracks. Track 1 is Prayer Training (Saturday only)\, which will equip individuals for a life of kingdom prayer. Track 2 (Saturday\, plus Sunday afternoon) will help equip you to train others in kingdom prayer.\nIf you are a pastor of a church\, this would be a great event for you to send the leader of your prayer ministry to. \nCornerstone has paid for the costs of hosting this workshop. The registration fee ($35 for Track 1; $45 for Track 2) is to cover the cost of books and resources that each participant will receive. \n  \nClick here to view the poster. Click here to view the brochure.\n

We believe this retreat will advance God’s mission in our lives. Its not just about global mission or local ministry. It is about the the Gospel\, -in all its beauty and breadth. We want to delve into what good news really is for us\, our neighbours\,  and strangers among us and around the world. We are excited about this opportunity to gather around these issues. We will emphasize smaller group interaction and creative discussion activities. \nWho is this retreat for? \nIts for young adults and older. It is for you if this theme resonates with you. You will find like-minded people to discuss local and global mission together. Be inspired. Be equipped. Explore opportunities go join what God is doing globally. \nWho will be speaking? \nIt will be a team approach. Darren DeMelo (Waterloo MB)\, Robyn & Philip Serez (MB Mission)\, and Ed Heinrichs & Andrew Hiebert (Camp Crossroads) will facilitate the weekend. Other regional leaders will participate. \nSure\, there will be tubing\, ice fishing\, and more! But what really rallies us is how we engage our theme. \nRegistration\nTo register for the retreat\, click on the button on the right. Be sure to follow all the instructions and complete the registration form. We need registrations in by January 20. If you would like to still come but haven’t registered by this date\, please contact us at 519-886-4378 or by email at kitchener@mbmission.org. \nWe have done our best to make this retreat as accessible as possible by keeping the cost low.
