DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to advise that Bethesda has been designated one of the worthy recipients of proceeds from the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) Fall Classic on September 8\, 2014\, at the prestigious St. Catharines Golf & Country Club. \nInformation regarding this event can be found on the GNCC’s website at http://www.greaterniagarachamber.com/Events/Upcoming-Events/Event-Details/e/338 . \nBethesda will not be holding their own golf tournament this year\, and\, if you wish to support Bethesda while fostering your business relationships through a great day of golf\, we encourage you to register early with the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce for their golf tournament on September 8th. \nRegistration\, sponsorship details\, and further information can be found at the web site noted above.  To assist you with your golf registration\, click on this GNCC Golf Registration Form that is to be returned to the GNCC at events.admin@gncc.ca or by calling 905-684-2361.   As this event generally sells out each year\, we encourage you to register early (early bird registration fees are $225 before June 27 and then $250 afterwards). \nBethesda volunteers will be at the GNCC tournament – we look forward to seeing you there!

The start of a new ministry year is a great time to consider how our ministries can be focused and effective in the core mandate of the Church. Join with other pastors and leaders from across the GTA for a morning of practical equipping and biblical encouragement.\n\n\nBiography\n \nRev. Edmund Chan is a seasoned disciple-making pastor having served for 25 years as Senior Pastor of Covenant Evangelical Free Church in Singapore. Now in the church’s role of Leadership Mentor\, Edmund is widely regarded as an insightful Bible expositor and a mentor of Christian leaders. In 1995\, he launched the annual Intentional Disciple-making Church (IDMC) Conferences and serves on the advisory councils of several Christian organisations. Edmund has authored “Built To Last: Towards A Disciple-making Church”\, “Growing Deep in God”\, “Mentoring Paradigms” and “Growing Deep in Faith”. He graduated summa cum laude from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with an MA (Missions). He is married to Ann Chan\, who serves as an Associate Pastor. They have two teenage daughters\, Amanda and Belicia.
