In this introductory course\, students will develop a greater understanding and appreciation of the historical\, literary\, theological\, and confessional values of both the Old and New Testaments. Included will be a discussion of political and religious contexts\, theological themes\, and the varied literary styles found within the biblical texts. Special attention will be given to the interpretation of the Bible in the Mennonite Brethren tradition: major issues and controversies\, influential scholars\, contemporary situation and trends. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”47933″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1536687214257{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Gals Getaway is a retreat for women of all ages.  It’s a chance for women from all over Southern Ontario to come together to enjoy fun\, food and fellowship in the beautiful Muskokas. \nThroughout the weekend\, there will be opportunities to participate in creative workshops\, hike\, and book appointments with an on-site massage therapist\, reflexologist and/or esthetician.  The food is always amazing with some of the post-weekend surveys rating the food a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5!
